Our name, the style of our site, the sort of work we do and the fact there is a cat on almost every page will tell you we are not your run of the mill laser business.
DarkLight Laser can offer you a range of services from initial concept design all the way through to premium gift wrapping and delivery overseas. We have worked with people to produce stand out gifts and with businesses in many different industries on a variety of branding projects.
Whether it’s a one off for your wedding or a batch of badges for your school group or 100 menus for the opening of your restaurants – We do short run, quality work. We don’t belt out thousands of poor quality widgets a week.

Proven Process = Awesome Results
1.
CONCEPT
We get together and discuss your ideas and expectations and then agree on the way forward. Commonly know as pulling the brief together.
2.
DESIGN
Based on the brief we will, depending on the extent of your job, design layout options, produce mockups and proofs.
3.
PROTO-TYPE
Not all jobs require proto-typing or the production of samples. If your designs or products are complex we will produce a physical sample for your review. If revision or rework is required it is done at this stage.
4.
PRODUCTION
Once you are happy with your design we will move into the production phase. We are Wizards of Light – the ‘laser magic’ happens here.
5.
DELIVERY
Delivery to your door is arranged – local, interstate or overseas. If you lived on the International Space Station, we’d organise that for you too. You are of course welcome to pick up your job from our studio, if you prefer.
Technologies we use
We can bend the technologies to our will and produce the outcome you are looking for. While lasering as a big part of what we do, it’s not all we do. We also use CNC routing and vinyl cutting technologies to produce our work.
Materials we work with
We work in a wide variety of materials including, but not restricted to sustainably harvested bamboo and Australian timbers, cast acrylic sheet, duel layer acrylic, glass, leather, paper & cardstock. Hell we’ll even engrave food.
